Training

Part of my passion for this breed is the labs ability to look good and work. They truly are a versatile breed. I love showing in many different venues. I’ve put titles, points or legs on my dogs or others in agility, hunt tests, rally, obedience, CGC, therapy dog and conformation. I’m a past member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers and I’m an Evaluator with AKC’s Canine Good Citizen program. I’m a trainer with the Iron Range Dog Training Club, where I’ve taught all levels of obedience, rally and agility. I attend workshops and seminars and I always have a new dog book to read. We all deserve to have a canine that is a great family companion!

Zita spirit sitting

To the left is my friend Zita and her dog Spirit. For 2 yrs I helped Zita train Spirit as a working service dog. Zita passed away without ever being able to use Spirits talents. Working with this team has been one of the most rewarding training experience’s I’ve had.
